Chanel Prelude Palette Swatches

By Laura. Posted July 19, 2011 at 2:00 am.

Just some quick swatches of my newest acquisition, the Chanel Prelude quad ($57/.24oz).  This quad came out with the Fall 2011 collection, but it is permanent (wooohooo!!).  The shades are subtle peach shimmer highlighter, a deep blackened brown with purple tones (this has slight shimmer, but it isn’t really noticeable when swatched), a beigey taupe with slight multi-color microshimmer, and a grayed taupe with multi-color microshimmer.  The shades are pretty neutral, though they perhaps lean slightly warm.  They are FABULOUS.  Probably one of the best neutral palettes I’ve seen in a long long time.  I swatched them once with a sponge tip applicator over UDPP, starting from the top right and going clockwise.

Look at it glow!
