I’ve been feeling under the weather for a few days now, so just a quick NOTD for today. I recently ordered Cult Nails Cruisin’ Nude (along with Captivated, which I’ll do a NOTD with soon). The shade is a mauvey beige with violet microshimmer. The shimmer can only really be seen in direct light, so I took a picture indoors under a lamp so you could see. The formula was a bit thick, going to add a bit of thinner before my next application. Otherwise though, it was very smooth and opaque in 2 coats. All picture are clickable to view in full size.
Why does my middle finger look so fat there? Anyways, this color is nice and appropriate for office and funerals. It kind of reminds me of a more beige and opaque Essie Demure Vixen. But, of course, I wasn’t in the mood to leave a funeral-appropriate polish unbedazzled. So I added a coat of Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure:
You can really see the violet microshimmer flash in the bottle here. You can also see how it is definitely a nude, the purple undertones kinda disappear in sunlight.
Forgive the tipwear, this was 2 days after application. I’m in looooooooove with flakies on nude polish. Hidden Treasure was limited edition, but you can always get Nfu Oh 38 from Fabuloustreet.com. Not affiliated at all, just love them!
