Illamasqua Scorn Swatch

By Laura. Posted July 1, 2011 at 2:02 am.

I love classic black polish.  I love that black is now a classic and no longer either a) goth or b) trend fodder.  I also love new takes on the classic glossy black polish, such as matte black.  That’s what Illamasqua Scorn is, a matte black that doesn’t dry dull.  It’s almost like a satin finish, matte but still reflects a bit of light.   Forgive my sloppy clean up, I got a bit excited and wanted to take pics!

Indoors, flash

I love this!  Picture is 2 coats over a basecoat and no topcoat.  The application is very smooth.  This will definitely be a staple in my polish wardrobe!
